Bulle, city of taste and traditions is the economic centre of the district of La Gruyère.
The city was destroyed by fire in 1805 (except for the Capuchin convent and the castle). Reconstruction work would take almost half a century. But it was worth the wait! Bulle now boasts a wonderful townscape, characterised by broad streets and large central square. At the Museum of La Gruyère, you'll find authentic rooms in which people in the past lived and worked.
Bulle is an ideal starting point for a journey of discovery through a region rich in contrasts. Its special blend of tradition and modernism lends the town a particular charm.
Folk market every Thursday in July and August.
