Between Broc and Charmey, a forest path follows the course of the River Jogne up to the dam at Montsalvens.
 

Visitors can discover 60 local marsh, open field and woodland plants along the 1.5 hour walk. The trail is characterized by a variety of sites, which are each home to different species. Each plant is visualized and described on a board.
 

Through marshes and reed beds you make your way across a wild region offering the opportunity to watch from purpose-built observation posts, a fauna which is rich in migrating birds, game and amphibians.

The Niremont mountain is about 1500m at its highest point and is characterized by peat bogs, wet meadows, pasture land and forest.
 

The Brecca Gorge is one of the most beautiful Alpine valleys. Ten thousand years ago glaciers created a fascinating landscape with its own unique appeal.
 

The pile dwelling sites around the Alps featured on UNESCO's World Heritage List includes 111 of the most remarkable lake-dweller villages chosen from among one thausand known sites in the six countries of the Alpine region (Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Slovenia and Switzerland).
